About Michelle

Michelle Daltry is a Principal Consultant at Inclusive Employers, bringing over two decades of experience in driving Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) within sport and physical activity. Before joining Inclusive Employers, Michelle served as Partnership Manager for Disability Sport Wales for 19 years, where she championed inclusive practices across the sector.

Michelle is passionate about supporting organisations to address inequalities both in the workplace and beyond. Her leadership roles in national and international inclusion networks reflect her commitment to creating environments where everyone can thrive.

Experience

Michelle’s extensive experience includes:

  • Leading strategic EDI initiatives within sport and physical activity
  • Advising organisations on inclusive policy development and cultural change
  • Chairing and co-founding networks to advance LGBT+ inclusion in sport
  • Delivering consultancy and training to embed inclusion across diverse sectors

She has held influential positions such as Chair of the Welsh Wheelchair Rugby Association and Chair of LGBT Sport Cymru, and co-founded the UK LGBTIQ+ Sport Alliance. Michelle also serves as the Welsh Lead for the global Football v Homophobia campaign.
